Dr. P. G. Prabakaran
For nearly four decades, I served in the Indian Revenue administration in varied capacities, retiring as a Group A Officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). My work spanned across Customs, Central Excise, GST, SEZ, and Foreign Trade domains.
My career was shaped not just by the interpretation of law, but through hands-on experience in field enforcement, audits, policy implementation, and real-world trade facilitation. I have seen how businesses struggle — not due to intent to evade — but because compliance systems are often poorly designed or policy intent is misunderstood.
I hold an LL.B degree, enabling me to combine legal expertise with administrative and audit insight.
